OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2010.  In January-June 2010 industrial enterprises of Chisinau of all forms of ownership produced goods to the amount of 5 billion 826,7 million leis or 61,1% of total volume of production in the country. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the industrial production volume increased by 9,5% as compared to the same period of 2009.

In January-June 2010 the share of enterprises with private capital accounted for 31,4% of total production volume, mixed capital (public+private) – 23,4%, public capital – 21,6%, joint enterprises – 14,7%, enterprises with foreign capital – 8,9%.

The largest share of goods, produced in Chisinau in January-June 2010, fell to processing industry – 73,1%. In the accounting period there was registered a reduction in production of agricultural machinery (by 50,7%), fruit and vegetables processing and conservation (by 26,5%).

At the same time the production of tobacco goods and flour-milling industry products increased by 49,7% and 19,5%, respectively. In energy sector the volume of industrial services increased by 3,1% as compared to January-June 2009, in extractive – reduced by 22,8%.
