OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2010. A list of the most important foreign investment projects envisaged for the implementation in Belarus in 2010 has been widened, according to Council of Ministers’ Resolution No 1184 “On addenda and amendments to Council of Ministers’ Resolution No 169 of 10 February 2010”.

The list of the most important investment projects included five new positions. The sum of additional investments made up USD64.3 million.

New investment projects comprised promising development of the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (the cost of the project is USD 42 million), technical upgrading of the Gomeldrev company with the implementation of energy-saving events and opening a new sawmill (USD 9 million), technical upgrading of the sawing workshop producing lumber, a new manufacture of isolation fiberboard and fuel pellets at the Mozyr Woodworking Plant (USD 1.2 million), upgrading of the Mogilevdrev company (USD 7 million).

On the whole, the list of foreign investment projects which are to be implemented in 2010 comprises 462 projects.
