OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2010.  A Russian agricultural bank does not plan to rest on opening of an office in Azerbaijan, for that it received a license of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) on June 21, 2010.

Head  of Rosselkhozbank’s office  in Azerbaijan Bakhtiyar Agayev informed, we hope that Rosselkhozbank will  open a branch in the country in the nearest future.

“For the most part, we will engage in loaning of farming by means of the branch in what we see acute need in Azerbaijan,” B. Agaev said.

Tasks to develop  connections  between the Azerbaijan and Russian operating or potential clients of the bank are set before the office: to assist implementation  of the Azerbaijan-Russian agreements, where the bank participates; to establish connections with state structures and business circles of the country; inform local business of prospects of cooperation with the bank; to promote in Azerbaijan investment projects with participation of the  bank.

“Within these framework we plan to hold presentations for local business,” B. Agaev said.
