According to press service of the Government, this was announced by Chief of the EIB energy department of the European Monetary System and Environment of East-European Countries, Russia, South Caucasus and Central Asia Constantin Synadino at the meeting with Prime Minister of Moldova Vladimir Filat.

Constantin Synadino noted, following the results of negotiations with representatives of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the possibilities of investment programs implementation by the Bank in agro-food sector of Moldova were determined.

Vladimir Filat thanked the EIB for openness to Moldova and ordered the officials of the Government to elaborate a package of proposals on collaboration with the Bank as soon as possible in order to find the optimal variant for conclusion of agreement on financial assistance in agro-food sector. They have also reached the arrangements to complete all details till the end of September.
