ALIDI Opens New Sales Department in St. Petersburg
OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2010. ALIDI, leading provider of logistic and distribution services, opens a new sales department of mixed-price in St.Petersburg. To launch new sales department ALIDI held a number of negotiations with potential partners in order to form a pool of contracts that will respond to the demand of the market.
As a result, today contract pool of the new department includes products of such companies as:
- Pit-Product, meat-processing company, was founded in 1996. Pit-Product is a part of an international Finnish concern Atria Plc, which is one of the biggest food producing companies in Scandinavian countries, Baltic region and
- Founded in 1818, Bunge is a leading agribusiness and food company with integrated operations that circle the globe, stretching from the farm field to the retail shelf. On Russian and CIS market Bunge is presented by two brands of bottled vegetable oil – Oleina and Ideal.
- Desan Company, founded in 1996 as a wholesaler various food products in the Russian market, now is focusing in the following segments: canned vegetables, tomato paste, cereals. ALIDI is responsible for distribution of “Shest sotok” and “Pomidorka” brands.
- Nevskie siri is the leading importer and producer of packaged cheese and butter on the north-west of
Another producer in ALIDI contract pool is Kronstadt meat-processing plant.
Some of products demand special temperature storage and transportation conditions. Thereby ALIDI held preliminary work to arrangelogistic technologies to provide product supply chain at a high level.
“This project is very interesting and perspective: products of high customer’s demand, large market, high requirements to the work of the trade team and to the organization of logistic processes, - said Aleksey Kolegov, Commercial Director of ALIDI Group. – Now we are forming the client base and are involving new suppliers in the project. Despite hard weather conditions (since June we have 30 above zero) we consider ALIDI new market entry to be a success: number of customers and sales volume are increasing every day”.
