Rosatom Transferred 80% Shares of ARMZ to Atomenergoprom
OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2010. Rosatom State Corporation has transferred to its civil structure – “Atomny Energopromyshleny Komplex” OJSC holding (Atomenergoprom) — a batch of 79.83% shares of Atomredmetzoloto OJSC uranium mining company (ARMZ) – this information has been provided by Atomenergoprom.
As a result, the fraction of Atomenergoprom’s shares was increased from 0.149% up to 79.979%. The holding’s equity share in ARMZ was changed on August 6, 2010.
ARMZ is the world’s fifth largest uranium mining company with operating enterprises in Russia and Kazakhstan. In 2010 ARMZ is intended to produce 5.13 tons of uranium.
Atomenergoprom OJSC is an integrated enterprise which consolidates civil assets of Russian nuclear power industry and it is also a part of Rosatom State Corporation.
