OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2010.  Freight One OJSC, a subsidiary of RZD (Russian Railways) JSC, recently set aside 160 tanks to form fire trains to extinguish forest fires in Russia.

All the tanks have been specially treated, are completely ready for use and have already been sent to the regions where a state of emergency had been introduced and there is an increased fire danger.

Freight One tanks included in fire trains are currently in operation on the Moscow, Gorky, Southeastern, Northern and Kuibyshev railways.
