IDGC of North-West Company and Philips Discuss Cooperation
OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2010. The parties have considered a possibility of a framework contract conclusion on cooperation in terms of the state program implementation of power saving and discussed a format of the top managers’ meeting.
Today in Saint Petersburg assistant of Director General of IDGC of North-West Valery and Director on corporate communications of Philips in Russia Ruslan Nozdryakov have conducted consultations on cooperation issues of IDGC of North-West and Philips as to the power saving program implementation.
Being the world leader as to light options, Philips offers the concepts development and implementation of lighting projects of both internal and external light illumination. The company’s projects are focused on quality improvement of light illumination and power saving.
Power consumption reduction to 40% can be the result of such options introduction at the existing facility and under the capital reconstruction of light illumination system or designing of new facilities power consumption can be reduced to 80% in comparison with the standard options.
Representatives of Philips in Russia plan to represent in more detail possibilities of the leader as to light options for chiefs and specialists of IDGC of North-West in terms of the United day of presentations of IDGC of North-West (KPI), the participants of which they plan to be in the nearest future.
Director General of North-West Alexander Kukhmay and Director General of Philips in Russia Yoost Leeflang talked for the first time on cooperation possibility as to power savings in February of the current year in Saint Petersburg.
Representation by Yoost Leeflang of innovative projects of Philips successfully implemented in Russia and in particular the project of new light illumination of Alexandrovsky column, Jordanian gallery and one of the halls of the Winter Palace of Hermitage with the help of the newest light-emitting diode (equipment and triggered the beginning of the top managers’ joint consultations which are planned to be continued by the parties but in a working meeting format already.
