OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2010. The deficit of the national public budget of Moldova in January-July 2010 amounted to 1 billion 522,5 million leis (USD128,2 million). As it was informed in the Ministry of Finance, in particular, the consolidated budget revenues in January-July 2010 amounted to 14 billion 606,9 million leis, or by 19,8 million leis (by 0,1%) less than indices planned for this time period.

In comparison with the same period last year they rose by 1 billion 772 million leis (13,8%). During the same period, the consolidated budget expenditures amounted to 16 billion 129,4 million leis or by 2 billion 615,4 million leis (14%) less than index planned for this time period. At the same time, they exceeded by 741,1 million leis (4,8%) the expenses of the national public budget over January-July 2009.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the state budget deficit in January-July 2010 amounted to 1 billion 399,6 million leis, state social insurance budget – 391,6 million leis. At the same time, surplus budgets of administrative-territorial units amounted to 117 million leis, the budgets of obligatory health insurance – 154,3 million leis.
