OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2010. The Russian Bank for Development and the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed a cooperation agreement in the area of SME support. The document was signed during the meeting of Sergey Krjukov, Chairman of the Board of RBD and Evgeni Primakov, President of the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry that was held in Moscow, reported the press-centre of RBD.   

The Agreement provides for facilitating the SME lending support as an integrated part of the government policy of support and development of entrepreneurship in the Russian Federation.

Small business will receive support in innovative and modernization projects. The parties also agreed on information and consultative assistance to SMEs. RBD and CCI will jointly organize and hold informative events for SMEs aimed at improving financial expertise, business culture, ethics and legal awareness.

“RBD and CCI networking will promote efficient and targeted support to SMEs”, S.Krjukov pointed out. 

“CCI and RBD must cooperate in order to find optimal solutions which will foster confidence between banks and SMEs and above all – to provide access to credit resources on reasonable terms”, accentuated Evgeni Primakov, President of the RF CCI.
