OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2010. Sibirtelecom started providing communication services in Sorsk. At the initial stage in accordance with the Agreement concluded between the telecommunication company and the managers of Sorsk Mining and Concentration Complex, Sibirtelecom received a subscriber base of 1,500 subscribers of the existing city telephone exchange.

“We are thankful to the managers of Sorsk Mining and Concentration Complex, City Administration and Mayor Aleksander Zhukov, as well as the Government of the Khakassia Republic for trusting us and the effective assistance in solving the problem of improvement of the telephone communication in Sorsk by transferring it to the digital technologies in the near future, said Vladimir Krupsky, Director of Khakassia branch of Sibirtelecom OJSC. We plan to expand the range of services for population, enterprises and organizations of the city.”

The sales and service office of Sibirtelecom Company has already been opened and works in Sorsk. The operators conclude agreements with new subscribers for providing access to the network of local telephone communication. Till the end of this year the citizens of Sorsk have a possibility to install a fixed phone at the most competitive price, only at the cost of 1 ruble!

Sibirtelecom Company continues to develop the investment project on the scale complex reconstruction of the city’s telephone network, replacement of outdated telephone exchange for the state-of-the art digital one that will make it possible to provide the Sorsk citizens with the full range of modern telecommunication services: quality local and intrazone telephony, high-speed  Internet access, interactive digital television, IP-telephony, and extra services, such as forwarding, voice mail, conference communication, etc.
