OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2010. During the monitoring of international money transfer systems operating in the territory of the country carried out by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan on August 02, 2010 it was revealed that “Contact” system carried out money transfer operations in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, reported the press-centre of CBA.

In connection with this, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan has instructed all local banks across the country to stop business relations with the “Contact” money transfer system from August 02, 2010.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan will continue such measures for the provision of sound financial mediation within its authority.
