OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2010. It will be recalled that on the 30th of June at the shipbuilding yard “Wadan Yards Okean”, while launching of four “NIBULON’s” vessels there was a solemn keel laying of construction of a new original tug on the order of “NIBULON”. Overall, there will be constructed 14 vessels on the stocks of the yard.

Work at Mykolayiv shipbuilding yardis humming – in the next few days we will submit weekly reports on progress of construction to your attention (for good traditions).

At the same time construction works of towing fleet are being continued. Tender for the purchase of paint materials for the series of the first six vessels has been recently completed.

Reliable partner of “NIBULON” - the company "International Paint Ltd." (United Kingdom) gained an expected victory. This company is a leader among producers of paint materials for the shipbuilding industry. By the way, another factor why preference was given to the British and “NIBULON” absolutely supports it, is environmental friendliness of their products. In particular, considerable attention is paid to problems of reducing of paint products impact on the environment.

On the 12th of August the first batch of paint materials for future towing fleet arrived to Mykolayiv. Truck with over 21 thousand liters of paint arrived at the terminal. Soon agreement on supply of paint materials for other vessels will be reached.

Incidentally, an interesting fact: paint materials of the producer safely protect metal surface from corrosion process, while successfully fulfilling a decorative function. This protection of surface from corrosion is not only qualitative but also durable, that is proved by a guarantee for many years.
