OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2010. Interregional rail operator Privolzhsky Railways has announced plans to invest over USD 8.85m in reconstruction of Verkhny Baskunchak station in Astrakhan region.

Reconstruction of the station started in May 2010, further timeframes for the project have yet to be disclosed.
Privolzhsky Railways is a part of national rail operator Russian Railways.
