OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2010. In line with its strategy to improve the efficiency of agricultural production, ASTARTA launches a new pre-sowing seed processing facility.

The facility is equipped with modern machinery for seed separation, cleaning, sorting and processing produced by Austrian HDT Company.

Facility launch will allow reducing the seeding rate, cutting application of seed disinfectants and the number of applications, as well as improving yields. According to ASTARTA's professionals, the payback period of a USD 0.8 million is 1-2 years.
