OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2010. Oranta financed a large part of the indemnity payment under a contract of voluntary insurance of vehicles.

The object of insurance was a sugar beet combine harvester “Ropa Euro Tiger”, damaged in a result of a fire that occurred at the premises of the agricultural company in Kiev Oblast.

The amount of insurance reimbursement amounted to UAH 1 887 thousand. The first part of the insurance compensation – UAH 900 thousand – has already been paid to the agricultural enterprise; the second tranche will be conducted by September 1, 2010 as agreed by the agreement of the parties.

Many Ukrainian agricultural companies trust their agricultural, property and transport risks to Oranta, as the company always justifies their confidence. For example, in June 2010 Oranta paid over UAH 14 million to its policyholders representing the agrarian sector for the damaged winter crops.
