OREANDA-NEWS. August 12, 2010. In Pervouralsk, under the beneficial housing insurance program implemented by ROSNO jointly with the municipal housing management companies and partnerships of housing owners since December 2009, the first insured accidents have been settled, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

ROSNO has settled 3 loss proofs submitted for reimbursement of damage inflicted by flood caused by the malfunctioning water supply, sewage and heating systems, which, according to the statistics, are the most widespread insured accidents occurring in city apartments. The insurance compensations for these accidents exceeded 9 thousand roubles.

At 7 Danilova Street, a blowout in the heating system in one of the apartments resulted in flooding the apartment located below, whose owners had previously insured their housing with ROSNO under the beneficial insurance program. Damage was inflicted to ceiling and walls of the kitchen, bathroom and the corridor.

At 12 Beregovaya Street, a similar flooding accident involving blowout of the heating pipe occurred. In the insured apartment, damage was done to wallpapers, laminated floor, and two-layer room ceiling.

At 72 Vatutina Street, the insured apartment was flooded due to the breakdown of the washing machine in the apartment located 1 floor above the said apartment. In particular, the weight of the water stretched out the suspended ceiling in the bathroom.

ROSNO has completely reimbursed the damage to the residents of the damaged apartments.

ROSNO’s Pervouralsk agency has been implementing the housing insurance program since December 2009. During this time, the agency concluded agreements with the Partnership of Housing Owners "Danilovskoye" and the Housing Management Company "Danilovskoye LLC". By now, insurance coverage has been provided for 350 apartments of the city.
