OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2010. ANTONOV company signed a contract on delivery of two AN-148 regional jets with Ilushin Finance Co. The aircraft that will be built at ANTONOV serial plant will be passed to a customer of one of the South-East countries. Term of delivery of the first of them is in 6 months.

As D.Kiva, President-General Designer of ANTONOV noted: “Today the first contract on delivery of AN-148 to the customer beyond CIS has been signed. It is the result of a big coordinated work of all partners on the programme. Working on AN-148 we made an aircraft which meets of modern norms of safety and ecological compatibility. Additions to certificate confirming possibility of the aircraft to perform automatic landing on IIIA ICAO category and to perform flights in P-RNAV system was also received. In the result not only national but foreign companies are interested in it”.
