OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2010. Based on petitions from physical persons and organizations, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) is analyzing the situation with prices for climate equipment developed in June-July 2010 as a result of abnormal hot and dry weather in several Russian regions, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Currently FAS Russia is investigating considerable, and in some instances multifold, increase of prices for air conditioners, fans and other equipment to see whether artificial shortage of such goods was created and whether the prices correspond with actual demand.
