Director General of Carmez Denied Statement on Raid Attack
OREANDA-NEWS. August 09, 2010. Director General Director of SC Carmez Anatolie Cislaru denied the statement of presidential ex-counselor Sergei Mocanu on raid attack of businessman Vladimir Plahotniuk on meat processing plant. According to Anatolie Cislaru, “Vladimir Plahotniuk wasn’t involved in the problems that Carmez and Anatol Cislaru personally faced.”
He announced that he knew the true authors of “raid” attacks on the enterprise and on him personally and soon he would name them. Anatol Cislaru appealed to Sergei Mocanu to not use in public his name and name of the company that he leads.
As it was reported before, Anatolie Cislaru was arrested on April 21, 2009 and removed from the position of General Director of SC Carmez that he took for 19 years. He was accused of illegal concentration of enterprise’s shares. According to the leading shareholders of SC Carmez, Anatolie Cislaru was arrested in order to change the management and to make a corporate raid by powerful persons connected with Globauto company.
They noted the breaches of the law within the procedure of election of the new management of the enterprise and the illegal alienation of the stock of shares to the amount of 4 million 007 thousand 194 leis. According to the lawyers, over 42 days that Anatolie Cislaru was under arrest he wasn’t interrogated. After 10 days after the election of new General Director and new council of SC Carmez he was dismissed.
Anatolie Cislaru applied to the European Court of Human Rights. He was reinstated in position of General Director of SC Carmez on September 23, 2009.
