OREANDA-NEWS. August 6, 2010. Interpipe NTRP has passed an audit for the Quality management system of wheel products meeting the demands of the RISAS standard (Railway Industry Supplier Approval Scheme). The auditor was international independent certifying agency RIQC (Great Britain).

RISAS is the only railway industry supplier approval scheme of products and services for rolling-stock repairs. RISAS is one of the most authoritative standards for product quality approval for railway wheel transport not only in Great Britain, but also in Europe.

The audit at Interpipe NTRP included an analysis of documentation, an evaluation of the technical possibilities of the equipment, the qualifications and competences of the Company’s personnel, a review of wheels and tyres production as well as the efficiency of internal and external interdependence.
