Oil Products Volume via Klaipedos Nafta up 6.8%
OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2010. The volume of petroleum products passing through Klaipedos nafta terminal (Lithuania) in January-July 2010 rose by 6.8% from the same period in 2009 to 4692.2 thousand tons, the KN’s press release said.
In July 2010 the terminal handled 629.3 thousand tons of petroleum products.
According to provisional data for January-July, the company’s revenues from the terminal operation amounted to LTL72.9 million (€21.1mi), including LTL8.9 million (€2.6m) in July.
AB Klaipedos nafta was founded in 1994. After dredging was completed in 2002, the depth at the terminal’s berths is 14 meters, allowing the company to accommodate and handle 100,000DWT tankers. The state holds a 70.63-percent stake in Klaipedos nafta, Achema Company owns 9,14% of stocks.
