OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2010. SOCAR delivered 908 mln 952 thousand cubic meters of gas to the state gas supply system in July. 291 mln 436 thousand cubic meters of gas was injected during July. A total of 617 mln 516 thousand cubic meters of gas was consumed in July. Of this total, 507 mln 305 thousand cubic meters of gas fell to the share of population, industry and Azerenergy. 12 mln, 935 thousand cubic meters of gas was exported to Georgia, 66 mln 435 thousand cubic meters – Russia, and 30 mln 841 thousand cubic meters of gas – Iran for Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic gas supply.

SOCAR has over-fulfilled plan on natural gas custody transfer for the last seven months. SOCAR delivered 6 bln 616 mln 350 thousand cubic meters of gas to the state has supply system during Jan-July of the current year that is 668 mln 450 thousand cubic meters more. Besides, 630 mln 926 thousand cubic meters of gas was collected out of underground gas storages for gas supply of the country industry, population and implementation of gas export, and 857 mln 772 thousand cubic meters of gas was injected to the storages.

Consequently, overall volume of the consumed gas for Jan-July makes 6 bln 389 mln 504 thousand cubic meters. Of this total, 5 bln 464 mln 309 thousand cubic meters of gas fell to the share of population, industry, and Azerenergy. 219 mln 982 thousand cubic meters of gas was exported to Georgia, 494 mln 648 thousand cubic meters – Russia, and 210 mln 565 thousand cubic meters of gas – Iran for Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic gas supply.
