KAMAZ Presents New Modern Fire-Fighting Equipment
OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2010. In the course of the 1st world championship for fire and rescue sport among youths which will be held at the stadium “Trudovye Rezervy” in Kazan from 5 to 10 August, the participants and audience will be able to see modern fire-fighting equipment on KAMAZ chassis.
AC 8000 fire-engine on dedicated KAMAZ-65225-63 chassis with TZA-Magirus cistern (NFL/AC 8000) with a water tank for 7500 litres and a foam tank for 500 litres will be of interest to those present. This is the last word in fire-fighting automobile industry.
KAMAZ’s fire-fighting truck tankers of various brands are intended for transportation of fire-fighting teams, emergency, rescue, fire-fighting and lighting equipment, and also fire-fighting agents. Truck tankers of the following brands will be presented at the exhibition for the 1st world championship for fire and rescue sport: AC-3,0-40 on KAMAZ-4308 chassis, AC-4,5-40 on KAMAZ-43253 chassis, AC-3,2-40/4 on KAMAZ-43253 chassis (4x2). These models have specifications important for modern fire-fighting equipment, but difficult to combine and balance: they are cross-country, handy, space-saving, high-capacity, heavy-payload, and, besides, easy-to-operate and serviceable.
TM-12 mobile ladder (150VR) on KAMAZ-43118 chassis stands out against a background of other exhibits. It helps to evacuate people from buildings and structures, carry out wrecking at a height up to 12m above ground level, lay fire hose lines to the same height omitting flights of stares.
PPP-32 foam delivery device on KAMAZ-53228 chassis (6x6) is meant for delivery of water or mechanical foam in tanks with a volume up to 20 thousand cubic meters at process installations of the oil, oil-refining, petrochemical industry with a height up to 60m, and also in industrial and residential buildings and structures.
High-technology AL-52 aerial ladder (130VR) on KAMAZ-65201 chassis (8x4) is intended for transportation of firemen to places of fire-fighting and rescue of people from high-rise buildings. A video camera is mounted on a fire-fighting monitor for visual control of ladder movements and fire extinguishing. The ladder is equipped with a hydraulic automatic alignment system enabling to place the ladder horizontally for 30 seconds.
The models exhibited in Kazan are an integral set of fire-prevention equipment on different KAMAZ chassis which, in point of fact, answers firefighters’ all requirements.
