Oranta always stood out in the insurance market of Ukraine and not only due to its leadership performance on insurance premiums and settlements volumes, but also owing to the innovative approaches of the Company’s work. The issue of client service has always been a priority for the Company, so one of the logical steps to increase its level has now become the introduction of e-policy OMTPL insurance using digital signature. Digital signature is a form of electronic signature, obtained as a result of a cryptographic transformation of a set of electronic data in a way that makes it possible to confirm its integrity, to identify the signer and to avoid fraud. Digital signature is applied using the private key and is verified using the public key.

Thanks to this innovation OMTPL policy purchase became much easier - the customer comes to the internet site http://online.oranta.ua, carries out personal calculation using the online calculator, and if satisfied with the cost, continues to add their personal data for the contract. Then after quick check of a page with formed text of contract, a client verifies the correctness of their data, and clicks the field to agree with all terms and conditions. After that, at the e-mail provided comes the letter with the contract and the special key, which a customer sets in their personal computer, and this is their electronic digital signature (EDS). With the help of this key a customer signs the contract and sends it back to the Company email, thus officially signing the contract. The payment is carried out through a bank card. After the confirmation of payment, the client obtains the original insurance policy signed by EDS Oranta by email and within 1-3 days the hard-copy policy is delivered to the customer by the registered mail at factual address.

The project starts on August 2nd; the management of the project will be conducted by Oranta-Online Ltd. “Before launching a digital signature, we have closely examined the legislation, and then developed the comprehensive mechanism for the use of EDS. This gives Oranta every reason to be the first insurance company in the Ukrainian market, which has introduced this service, while complying with all requirements and rules of law”, commented the Director General of Oranta-Online Ltd., Mr. Eugene Redka. – “We also provide delivery of the policy by registered letter, which is certainly very convenient as it saves valuable time for our customers.
