OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2010. Ipoteka-Bank, joint-stock commercial mortgage bank, is taking strong measures on financial support of agricultural enterprises. During the first half of 2010, the bank granted 818.7 million soums of credits to stock-farms to increase the livestock.

12 businesses received 817 million soums to establish poultry farms, while seven of them used bank credit resources for the construction of new greenhouses.

In addition, Ipoteka-Bank concentrates on the social program for the support of low-income families in rural area. Thus, during the first six month of 2010, 299 families were granted 588.2 million soums for the cattle purchase at the expense of Employment Fund of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection resources and the bank own assets.

Also, Ipoteka-Bank granted credits in the amount of 864.8 million soums for agricultural equipment purchase to upgrade material and technical machinery at agricultural enterprises.

It should be noted that nowadays more than 2,400 farms processing and manufacturing agricultural products are using the services of Ipoteka-Bank.
