OREANDA-NEWS. August 04, 2010. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies prepares for qualitative jump in introduction of system of electronic control (e-government).

Today, Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov said, creation of e-Government in accordance with  principle of "single window" and beginning of rendering of the first services is one of the primary goals,  which are before the ministry, till the end of the year.

"Also, we carry out  work to expand  use of the Internet in the country and to  improve  its quality. Till the end of 2010  we will try to increase this rate even more and to achieve level of use of the Internet in the country, exceeding two-fold the  world index,” A. Abbasov said.

Objective for the  second half of the year is also provision of entrance of Azerbaijani IT-companies  to foreign markets and improvement  of their competitiveness at foreign markets.
