OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2010. Amur region will introduce GLONASS transport monitoring on special scholar vehicles in order to maintain safety of local scholars.

The issue was discussed by the regional transport safety commission. The park of scholar buses had been renewed recently in the region, so currently local authorities are in position to install GLONASS equipment on all the vehicles which serve scholars.

Monitoring of scholar transport will provide continuous and timely control to guarantee safety of the children transported. Due to constant communication link, drivers would be able to inform dedicated services about any accident, and dispatchers would be able to monitor routes and speeding.
