UkrSibbank Wins Tender Rolled by Pension Fund of Ukraine
OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2010. From now on, UkrSibbank BNP Paribas Group can service pensioners all over Ukraine. This decision was made by the tender committee of the Ukrainian Pension Fund, which selected banks to service the pensioners and welfare recipients, reported the press-centre of UkrSibbank.
“We’ve approached the Pension Fund of Ukraine, so that pensioners throughout the country, irrespective of their state registration, could receive their pensions from a stable bank. Today, pensioners make 120,000 out of 1.6m UkrSibbank’s individual customers. It’s not a secret that senior people are more demanding and cautious about their choice. So, prior to opening a deposit or a pension account with a bank, such clients will thoroughly study the bank’s reputation and history. We are proud that so many pensioners trust UkrSibbank, which is part of BNP Paribas – the biggest international financial group presented in Ukraine”, - stressed Ivan Istomin, Head of UkrSibbank BNP Paribas Retail Sales Department.
Pension accounts are opened and served with UkrSibbank for free. Moreover, pensioners receive free plastic cards to withdraw pensions at their convenience, including on the day, when pensions are transferred from the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Pensioners may withdraw funds at any of 700 branches or ATMs of UkrSibbank and partner banks - which is over 3,750 ATMs throughout Ukraine.
“It’s an honor for UkrSibbank to care for senior people. The Bank strives to create not only comfortable, but also favourable terms for its customers”, - pointed Ivan Istomin. – “Every month pensioners receive higher interests on their balances, which means they get additional revenue just by keeping a part of their pension on card accounts. Also, the Bank has designed the “Schaslyvyi vik” (Happy age) deposit program meant specially for pensioners. You can replenish this deposit at your convenience, as well as automatically transfer monthly interests to a card or any other deposit account”.
