OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2010. As it was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, taking into account the inflation, the salary in real terms reduced by 0,3%. In the public sector the average monthly salary in January-June 2010 amounted to 2532,2 leis, increasing as compared to the same period of 2009 by 8% and in real sector of economy it increased by 5,9% - up to 3034,4 leis.

Particularly, in June 2010 the average monthly salary amounted to 3080,1 leis, increasing as compared to June 2009 by 8,3%. In the public sector the average monthly salary in June 2010 increased by 8,4% - up to 2848 leis, and in real sector of economy – by 8,1% - up to 3210,4 leis.

The highest average monthly salary in January-June 2010 was received by the workers of financial sector – 6034,4 leis or by 7,7% more than in the same period of 2009. Particularly, their average monthly salary in June 2010 amounted to 6335,1 leis, increasing as compared to June 2009 by 7,8%.

The average salary of the workers of enterprises on electricity, heat, gas and water supply amounted in January-June 2010 to 4581,8 leis (-0,4%), in June – 4769,4 leis (+4,3%). At the enterprises of transport and communication sector the average monthly salary in January-June 2010 amounted to 3792,1 leis (+4,9%), in June – 3716,2 leis (+2,5%).

The lowest average monthly salaries in January-June 2010 were registered in agricultural, hunting and forestry sectors – 1394,2 leis (+8,2%), in fish-breeding – 1487 leis (+3%).
