OREANDA-NEWS. August 2, 2010. A complicated manufacturing operation was carried-out at the offshore ice-resistant fixed platform "Prirazlomnaya": right-hand part of a helipad was mounted on the upper structure. It is a construction weighing 130 tons and its dimensions are 16 X 38 m.

A complicated manufacturing operation was carried-out at the offshore ice-resistant fixed platform "Prirazlomnaya": right-hand part of a helipad was mounted on the upper structure. It is a construction weighing 130 tons and its dimensions are 16 X 38 m. The construction was mounted at the height of 47 meters. The weather conditions and coordination in work of shops (22, 43) and structural subdivisions (Chief Technologist Department, Chief Designer Department) of the plant let successfully realize this operation. It lasted six hours. Transportation of the helipad began in the evening and finished late at night. All the works were fulfilled under guidanceof Platform Construction Department.

The helipad was manufactured by the main shops: building berth-assembly shop and hull welding subdivision. Contracting organizations LLC "Volgograd firm "Neftezavodmontazh" and LLC "Gazpromenergodiagnostika" were also involved into this work. According to Chief Commissioning Officer Alexey Bely, the right-hand part of the helipad has been mounted, whereas the left-hand one is going to be mounted in October or November.

Mounting of the helipad is finishing the large scope of work at the offshore ice-resistant fixed platform "Prirazlomnaya" and it is forming the final design of the platform. Now installation works, cabining, hydraulic testing of the systems are in progress at the site.
