OREANDA-NEWS. August 02, 2010. The Government does not accept higher prices for bread in Ukraine. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov in an interview.

Mykola Azarov noted that the Government controls the situation on grain market and encourages grain traders to set optimal prices for grain.

"We are satisfied with the optimal cost: profitable for farmers, manufacturers, and while such one at which the price of bread will remain same. We have all conditions to keep the price of bread" - the Prime Minister said and added that although there are problems with food grain, the yield in general is good: "the grain stock is more than enough the crop is good".
