OREANDA-NEWS. July 30, 2010. The specialists of IDGC of North-West as to occupational safety will take part in review competition of protection equipment which will take part under the patronage of IDGC Holding in Voronezh.

12 companies which supply protection equipment, instrument and accessories, special clothing for the power engineers are invited to participate in it. The companies will present and demonstrate production at training ground of “Voronezhenergo”.

On August 4 on the IDGC Holding’s initiative, the review competition of protection equipment, instrument and accessories will take part for the first time for the first time and they will represent 12 companies – suppliers of such production for the fuel and energy complex. The arrangement for participation in which chiefs and specialists as to occupational safety of all the Holding’s distribution grid companies are invited will take place in the training ground of “Voronezhenergo” branch of IDGC of Centre.

Chief of occupational safety department of the executive body Roman Yakobson will head the delegation of IDGC of North-West in composition of 9 people, which will be constituted with chiefs of occupational safety departments of the branches.

By the words of occupational safety department’s chief of IDGC of North-West Roman Yakobson (on the picture)   “holding of such arrangements in format of demonstration, familiarization with production of protection equipment producers directly in terms of the training ground will assist significantly from now forward to simplify and reduce the preliminary assessment procedure of competitive bids of suppliers while holding bids, because an expert report can be formed in terms of the review competition already.

Besides that the specialists will have to work out recommendations on engineering specification definition to protection equipment for their further usage in the formation course of the technical policy, performance specification for tender procedures.
