OREANDA-NEWS. July 29, 2010. The delegation of Rosatom Fuel Company "ТVEL" headed by President Yury Olenin was on a working visit of OAO “ОКB — Nizhniy Novgorod” — leading Russian design office in the field of development of modern models of gas centrifuges (GC) for needs of the enterprises of nuclear & fuel cycle.

The experts of the company have familiarized with work of the design bureau, design department and laboratory of resource tests, and met the heads and workers of these divisions.

Within the framework of the visit there was held a meeting where General Director of OAO “ОКB — Nizhniy Novgorod” Pavel Mochalov was speaking about the development of gas centrifuge of new generation.

Following the results of visit to OAO “ОКB — Nizhniy Novgorod” it was offered to work out the options of specialization of three design offices being part of the Fuel Company and engaged in designing of new models of gas centrifuges “ОКB — Nizhniy Novgorod”, CJSC “Centrotech-Spb“ and “Novouralsk Scientific & Design Centre"), as well as to carry out the analysis of the would be effect as a result of introduction of some additional decisions in the HC design aimed at decrease of the operation costs.
