OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2010. The Management of IDGC of Centre, subsidiary of IDGC Holding, JSC, participated in the annual conference Goldman Sachs held for the companies of electric power industry. Over 50 representatives of investment funds and banks participated in the conference. Evgeny Bronnikov, Deputy General Director for Economy and Finance, was speaker representing IDGC of Centre.

Representatives of investment community were interested in postponement of transfer of six divisions of the Company to RAB-regulation. Three of 11 divisions of IDGC of Centre (Belgorodenergo, Lipetskenergo, Tverenergo) were transferred to effective methods of tariff-making on January 1, 2009, and Kurskenergo and Yarenergo — on January 1, 2010.

Evgeny Bronnikov noted, that in accordance with the preliminary calculations and position of regional authorities of tariff regulation IDGC of Centre plans to transfer divisions in Bryansk, Orel, Kostroma and Tambov regions to RAB within 2010. It is planned to transfer the other two divisions of IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo and Smolenskenergo to the effective methods of tariff regulation from January 1, 2011.

Regarding transfer to five-year period of tariff regulation Evgeny Bronnikov confirmed that five years are considered as the first long-term period of regulation for all divisions of the Company planning transfer to RAB. Prolongation of regulation period for five years is being discussed with DPC over the divisions having already transferred to RAB-regulation.
