OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2010. Bohdan Motors, the major automotive producer in Ukraine, decreased its net loss by 71% in 2Q2010 on the q-o-q base to UAH 24.5mn, according to a statement by the company’s representative on July 26. Meanwhile, the company boosted its net sales by 50.4%, or UAH 231.9 mn in the 1H2010 y-o-y, to UAH 692 million.

Millennium Capital considers the news as positive for LUAZ, as these data reflect a growing demand for the company’s production of both passenger cars and public transportation vehicles. These are in line with Millennium Capital’s expectations of the market recovery at the beginning of 2011.
