OREANDA-NEWS. July 27, 2010. The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the safety rules for railway infrastructure.

A Decree of July 15, 2010 № 525 is published on the Government’s website.

The Technical Rules include requirements for technical design projects, construction, commissioning, an order of acceptance, and evaluation parametres of conformity with safety rules.

The Annex to the Decree informs us that the new document is based on the following Federal Laws: "On Technical Regulation", "On the Railway Transport in the Russian Federation", "Technical Regulations for Fire Safety" and "On Ensuring the Unity of Measurement”.

Technical Rules will come into force in July 2013, and the Ministry of Transport and other relevant departments are to develop the related documentation.
