The UX surged up in the last hour to close at 2000.55 for a gain of 0.67% on the while the PFTS fell by 0.37% to 798.58. Total equity turnover was low, at UAH 53.6 mln on the UX and UAH 16.3 mln on the PFTS. The top three stocks by volume yesterday were Avdiyivka Coke (AVDK UK), up 0.45% on UAH 6.5 mln in volume; Ukrnafta (UNAF UK), up 1.28% on UAH 5.8 mln; and Alchevsk Iron & Steel (ALMK UK), down 3.67% on UAH 5.4 mln. On the interbank forex market, the Ukrainian hryvnya closed at UAH/USD 7.894.
