OREANDA-NEWS. July 27, 2010. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has organized a seminar for the representatives of commercial banks, members of the “MasterCard Worldwide” international card organization operating in the country with participation of the representatives of “MasterCard Worldwide” international card organization, reported the press-centre of CBA.

New manager of the “MasterCard Worldwide” for Azerbaijan Hakan Acar and Regional Director Mete Guney gave the information about the main activity of the organization, expansion of mutual relations with economic subjects and directions of successful marketing in the market of payment cards, as well as international experience in the sphere of prepaid card products and contactless payment cards, new technologies of the sphere. Participants of the seminar were also informed about the “MoneySend” transfer system of the “MasterCard Worldwide” international card organization.

They also spoke about the significance of the partnership between Azerbaijan and “MasterCard Worldwide”, and stressed the importance of the expansion of mutual relations in this direction.
During the seminar, representatives of the “MasterCard Worldwide” international card organization gave answers to numerous questions of the participants.
