IDGC of Centre Chooses Best High-Voltage Line Servicing Team

The competitors have to pass six stages. Theoretical knowledge of working regulations, instructions and standards will be checked using software system “Сenturion” at the first stage. Within frameworks of the other five stages power engineers will demonstrate practical skills in first-aid dressing, elimination of fire hazard at wire damage, connection of stub of wires of anchor metal support, renewal of insulation and removal of foreign object from HVL wires. Skill in work with gasoline-powered saw will be additional, out-of-competition stage.

In final commemorative souvenirs will be presented to all participants of the competition, and diplomas, medals and valuable prizes will be awarded to three the best. Top prize is autohydraulic hoist. The jury will decide the best foreman and the best 35—110 kv HVL servicing electrician according to the questioning results.
