UniCredit Group & Universities Launches New Competition
OREANDA-NEWS. July 23, 2010. UniCredit Group & Universities of Labour Ugo Foscolo Foundation, after accepting LUISS School of Government proposal, launches a competition for 6 scholarships for the attendance of annual master programmes in English in:
International Public Affairs (3 scholarships);
European Studies (3 scholarships).
This new initiative represents another important step towards a more active cooperation with the Academia favoring as well the exchange of best talents across
The Master in European Studies goal is to study the activities of EU institutions and policies.
Offered courses:
Policy and policy making of EU institutions
European energy policy
European welfare and labor politics
The Master in International Public Affairs goal is to provide students with the theoretical and operational skills required to become leaders in the development and implementation of public policies.
Offered courses:
New Public Policy Management
Global Legal Standards
Strategies and Techniques of Public Communication
International Economics
6 scholarships for the academic year 2010-2011 will be funded, aimed at top students from the EU geography of UniCredit Group.
The financial commitment will globally amount to EUR 95,100 and include:
tuition fees (€ 6,500 for the Master in European Studies for each student and € 8,000 for attending the Master in International Public Affairs for each student);
accommodation costs (€ 6,000 for a single room in shared apartment for the period October 2010-June 2011);
travel expenses for visits to EU institutions up to € 600 for a two/three day trip);
internship cost (€ 2,000.00 to support participation to an internship programme).
Elements in point 3 and 4 depend on the positive academic performance of the funded students monitored by the Scientific Manager of the
Winners Selection (to be closed likely by July 31) will include:
Analysis of academic and professional documentation provided by the candidates such as CV, academic records and 2 letters of reference by the School of Government research and professional staff; Short list of candidates to be shared with UniCredit & Universities Foundation designated persons;
30 minute conference call with shortlisted candidates with participation of person designed by UniCredit and Universities Foundation, should this be required;
Public announcement of successful candidates via SOG, UniCredit & Universities Foundation website and UniCredit group Website.
The Master courses will start during the first week of October 2010.
