OREANDA-NEWS. July 23, 2010. Belarus’ OAO Krinitsa, the largest brewery of the country, produced 6.684 million decaliters of beer in January-June 2010, down 8.1% from the January-June 2009 level, a representative in food concern Belgospischeprom told.

The Minsk-based facility decreased beer production 7.6% to 6.48 million decaliters.

Beer output in plastic bottles went down 7.1% on the year to 5.417 million decaliters.

Krinitsa beer output in glass bottles fell 23.6% to 701,000 decaliters, in kegs went up 56.7% to 472,000 decaliters and in cans fell 58.3% to 94,000 decaliters.

Krinitsa’s share in overall beer output in Belarus fell in January-June 2010 6.4 percentage points to 37.4%.

Krinitsa was founded in January 2001. OAO Polotsk Beer and Nesvizh soft drinks plant have been incorporated by OAO Krinitsa and operate as subsidiaries.
