OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2010. MTS clients in all regions of Russia can use Yandex.Maps installed on their mobile devices for free. MTS has joined Yandex’s program for mobile providers, which aims to give mobile users access to the Yandex.Maps application without paying for data usage.

Yandex.Maps for mobile is a free application that helps users navigate one of 113 cities around Russia, from Khabarovsk to Pskov. The MTS clients installing a special version of Yandex.Maps on their mobile devices can use this application without data usage fees. This version also features the Locator service provided by MTS. The MTS version of Yandex.Maps for mobile supporting Windows Mobile, Symbian and Java is available for download at http://mobile.yandex.ru/maps/mts/mappromo.xml.
