OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2010. 11th Azerbaijan – Germany Business Forum held in Baku organized by AZPROMO and German-Azerbaijanian Business Association (DAWF) with the support of Ministry of Economic Development on July, 19. Forum brought together more than 50 officials and entrepreneurs from agriculture, food industry, finances, oil and gas, alternative energy, machine-building and other sectors.

Speaking at the conference Deputy Minister of Economic Development Niyazi Safarov, Head of Entrepreneurship Development Policy Department Zaur Gasimov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Bahram Aliyev, representative of German Federal Economy and Technology Ministry Andreas Neumann and special envoy of Ambassador of Germany to Azerbaijan Peter Ziegler made statements on the existing economic relations between the two countries, ways to develop the cooperation, as well as importance of organization of business/trade missions.

Further AZPROMO President Adil Mammadov presented investment climate and business opportunities in Azerbaijan, Deputy Executive Director of Azerbaijan State Investment Company Zaur Mammadov spoke on the main activities and projects implemented by the company, as well as Deputy Chairman of DAWF Alexandr Androvich presented the main projects of the organization in Azerbaijan.

Individual presentations of German companies as well as B2B meetings followed the official part of the forum.
