OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2010. JSC "Zaporozhtransformator" (ZTR) has signed a Contract for delivery of equipment for "HPP-1 Ekibastuzskaya", Ltd., Kazakhstan. According to the Contract, ZTR will manufacture a unit transformer rated for 630 MVA 500kV for the third unit of power plant.

The first advanced payment has been already received, and the order is distributed into production. Delivery is scheduled for December, 2010.

Concluded Contract has resulted from negotiations, held between ZTR and representatives of HPP-1 Ekibastuzskaya, who had a visit to JSC "ZTR" in the end of May of the current year. 

Based on results of negotiations, JSC "Zaporozhtransformator" has become an approved supplier of a unit transformer rated for 630 MVA 500 kV for a unit №3 of HPP-1 Ekibastuzskaya.

"Kazakhstan is our traditional trade area. ZTR has delivered quite a number of transformers for Kazakhstan in the current year. Special mention should be made of deliveries for objects (SS “Novaya” and SS “Yermensay”) of Asian sports contest, which will be held in Kazakhstan, as well as for electrification of Suzdalskiy mine and sanatorium of Almaty. Orders for transformers designed for SS “Zhetybai” and “Priozernaya”, free economic zones in Aktay, are currently within production process.
