SOCAR President Mr. Rovnag Abdullayev received the delegation led by Mr. Jurgen Fitschen, Member of the Management Board and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of German Deutsche Bank. By cordially welcoming the guests, Mr. Abdullayev pointed out the efficient cooperation between SOCAR and the Deutsche Bank. He mentioned the interest of the international financial institutions on the projects implemented in Azerbaijan even during the global economic crisis by noting the unsecured loan of USD 80 million as an obvious case allocated by Deutsche Bank to SOCAR in 2009. SOCAR President briefed on development strategy, implemented programs, and future plans of the Company and noted the importance of operation of the German companies in oil and gas sphere. Mr. Jurgen Fitschen, Member of the Management Board and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of German Deutsche Bank expressed his gratitude for reception and mentioned the interest of the Deutsche Bank in the projects to be carried out by SOCAR. Mr. Jurgen Fitschen emphasized the wide cooperation opportunities with SOCAR and the will of the Bank for future cooperation as well.
