OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2010. Some important work was carried out in “Sumgait High Voltage Electric Network” (HVEN), during the second quarter of the current year in order to increase the service quality, saving of the technological losses in definite limit, preventing of commercial losses.

According to the information given by HVEN to the Press-release of “Azerenergy” JSC,  the transformer by 240 MW and its equipments were current repaired in Yashma s/s by 330 kV. The analogical measures are carried out in Sanaye Govshagi s/s by 220 kV. Lets` note that, the transformers by 200 MW, TL of the Sanaye Govshagi s/s by 110 kV, at the same time, the oil circuit breakers  of the I Sumgait and the I Khirdalan TL and its equipments were current repaired. Different setting repair – restoration work were carried out in the II Sumgait, Kimyachilar, Jeyran Batan, Sitalchay, Khazri and in Aviazavod s/s.

The corresponding repair work was carried out in TL of High Voltage Electric Network in order to  much more increase the regularity. For example, the ropes were tightened in some anchor towers of  the II Absheron  TL by 500 kV, the I Absheron TL by 330 kV, Khachmaz TL. Some repair work was also carried out in the II Siyazan, Altiaghaj – Siyazan, Sariqaya – Goredil, Yashma and in the VII Absheron TL.

By the way, the maintenance repair work was carried out in 5 km of TL by 330 kV, in 13 km of TL by 220 kV, in 50 km of TL by 110 kV and in TL by 35 kV and in more than 65 km part. Lets` also noted that, these type of measures make opportunity in supplying of electric power transmission regularity.

The territory was cleaned of dry grass, fire extinguisher posts were checked. Automatic fire extinguisher installation was inspected.
