OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2010. Tagansky regional court of Moscow passed sentence upon Mr. M.V Timofeyev convicted in crimes provided by Part 3 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

M.V Timofeyev worked as a leading specialist of the Third Party Liability Insurance Claims Examination Department of Ingosstrakh OJSIC Claims Settlement Department. Using his corporate opportunities, he fraudulently appropriated the company’s funds of more than 2.5 mln rubles. Thanks to the prompt work of Ingosstrakh OJSIC Information Analysis and Protection Department, part of the funds was returned to the company. Thus, the stolen sum was 1.1 mln rubles, which is major damage. Until the end of the investigation, the damage was fully indemnified by Timofeyev.

While making a sentence the court took into account the fact, that M.V Timofeyev fully admitted his guilt and voluntarily refunded the money stolen and was condemned to 4 years’ ii prison conditionally with the probation period of 3 years.
