OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2010. In Ukraine, the State program on development of medical biotechnology is to appear. This was discussed during meeting chaired by the Head of the State Committee on Science, Innovation and Information Vladimir Semynozhenko.

The program is planned, in particular, to preview the development of the bio- and immunotechnologies that can be the breakthrough for Ukraine and to strengthen the position of our country in the international division of labor.

"At the rising of the sixth technological way Ukraine has to develop two powerful scientific areas - biotechnology and nanotechnology, where our scientists achieve significant results. Support for this research is a top priority for the State science policy"- the Head of the State Committee said.

Work on the State program draft is scheduled for 2 weeks.
