OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2010. Samara branch of Ingosstrakh entered into a contract and provided accident insurance for the Avtovaz employees. Under the contract the insured events are: temporary disablement resulting from accident; permanent full (or partial) disablement; of I, II and III group disability resulting from accident, death from accident. The coverage is effective 24 hours a day.

Reinsurer under this contract is the insurance company Ingosstrakh - Zhizn.

Avtovaz OJSC is the largest car manufacturer in Russia and Eastern Europe. Its share in gross domestic product of Russia is about 1%.

For the period 1970—2002 the facility produced more than 21 million cars. The existing production potential of the automobile complex allows to produce more than 700,000 cars per year.

  Economy car assembly under Avtovaz license is carried out in: Syzran, Izhevsk (Russia), Lutsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Kremenchuk (Ukraine), Quito (Ecuador), Cairo (Egypt), Montevideo (Uruguay). Oka, VAZ-1111, is carried out in Serpukhov and Naberezhnye Chelny.
